Mullinix Basement

The objective of this project was to convert a 1500 square foot unfinished basement into a functional and aesthetically pleasing space for a drummer and his family and friends. The design needed to accommodate present and future uses, including a sound-proofed music room that will someday become a home theater room. The basement's design transforms the unfinished basement into a multi-use space, including: a guest bedroom with shared bathroom and walk-in closet; an entertaining area with wet bar; gathering space for movie watching; gaming area and pool table; and a sound-proofed room.
