Dan Messina
Vice President of Construction

Years Experience: 25

Educational Background:  Dan attended SUNY Delhi for Schooling in Carpentry & Electrical and graduated with an Associates in Plumbing, Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Experience: At a young age, Dan worked closely with his father in their family woodshop, heavily influencing his love for carpentry and construction.  Throughout his high school and college career, he spent his summers working for a local builder in upstate New York.  Following college, early 2000s, Dan moved to Charlotte to work as a residential heating and air conditioning repair technician.  He quickly found he missed his love and passion for carpentry and residential construction.  For the past 20 years, Dan has worked in the high-end renovations and custom home building market.  He started at Urban Building Group in 2011 as a carpenter and quickly graduated up the ranks to project manager then production manager.  Most recently Dan has been named Vice President of Construction for Urban Building Group, where he oversees all aspects of the business.

Background: With 25 years of experience, Dan brings a full understanding of all aspects, trades, and components that go into home building and renovations.  He is also a registered qualifier for the company’s general contractor’s license.  Dan is married and has 3 daughters that keep him very busy.  In his free time, you will find Dan in his garage wood shop, on his mountain bike, or doing many renovations to his personal home.

I can't recall an experience that has been more positive from start to finish than my experience with Urban Building Group.
